Application Support Engineer

Job Description:
• Provide support to clients on web applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application issues, performance.
• Monitor the applications and systems alerts and attend to them proactively.
• Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to deploy and configure web applications to staging and production environments.
• Communicate issues and status to various groups including client, infrastructure, development and QA teams.
• Follow up on issue status, work with developers/infrastructure supports on root cause analysis, resolution and update tickets timely logged in helpdesk system.
• Continue improvement to meet service level agreement with clients.
• Must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment with good learning attitude.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties which will be assigned by superior as and when required.

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Administration of Microsoft Windows Server, MS SQL Server Database and IIS Web Server.
• Required language(s): Mandarin and/or English.
• With 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is an added advantage.
• Preferably Executives specializing in Software Application Support/Development or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Linux is an added advantage.
• Possess strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with good learning attitude.
